Does the AI control anything in our systems?

No. The integration is read-only. The model reasons about live operational data and returns answers to the operator. It cannot send commands, modify records, move assets, or take any action in your systems. The human makes every decision.

Does this make external network calls or send data outside our environment?

No. The MCP connector talks to your application database, which is already inside your network, and your desktop LLM interface, which is also already on your network. There are zero external API calls. No data leaves your environment at any point.

Do we need to train or fine-tune a model on our data?

No. The integration connects frontier models to your live data at query time. There is no training pipeline, no data labeling, and no GPU infrastructure to manage. The model reads your operational data the same way a staff officer would, except faster.

Does this replace TAK or our existing systems?

No. It sits alongside them. TAK stays exactly as it is. The AI connector is a thin layer that gives you the ability to ask questions of data that is already flowing through your systems. Nothing changes about how operators use their tools today.

What happens when AI models improve or get upgraded?

Your capability improves automatically. Because the architecture keeps the frontier model in the critical path with no embedded business logic in between, model improvements flow directly into your operations with zero additional development work. The investment compounds over time rather than depreciating.

How long does deployment take?

The integration connects to your existing infrastructure. There is no new hardware, no network redesign, and no multi-month rollout. A working capability can be demonstrated against live data in days, not quarters.

Is this just a chatbot bolted onto our system?

No. A chatbot answers general questions from its training data. This integration reasons about your specific, real-time operational data: positions, tracks, sensor feeds, the current state of your common operating picture. Every answer is grounded in what is actually happening right now, not what a model memorized months ago.
