Mission-critical TAK operations

TAK Server is government software. Bravo Forward operates it in your environment, under your authorization, and you keep every key.

The service is priced by outcome, not by the hour. Monitoring, patching, federation, and user support are included, and monthly reporting shows the results.

Five outcomes

The service is defined by five outcomes. Bravo Forward is accountable for each of them.

  1. Available

TAK is up and ready for users at any hour.

  2. Deployment-ready

Deploying teams have the mission packages, groups, and missions they need.

  3. Interoperable

Approved partners are federated, their groups are mapped, and the links stay up.

  4. Supported

Users who cannot connect, or need help with the basics, are supported.

  5. Assured

Monthly reporting covers availability, incidents, requests, changes, and federation status.

Managed operations

One service covers everything required to keep TAK running and users connected.

Server operations

Monitoring, patching, upgrades, certificate and PKI lifecycle, backup and recovery, and capacity management.

Users and groups

Provisioning, mission and channel configuration, client certificates, and data packages.

Mission packages

Built on request. Where approved, users generate their own at any hour.

Federation

New federations with approved partners, group mapping, and ongoing link maintenance.

User support

Help for users who cannot connect, and everyday support for ATAK, WinTAK, and iTAK.

Assurance

One intake channel, monthly reporting, quarterly reviews, and documentation kept in your environment.

Coverage tiers

Three tiers, sized to the operating tempo and adjustable through the year.

Standard
Covered hours across the working week, with defined response times for incidents and requests.
Continuous
Round-the-clock response, every day of the year, for anything that takes TAK down.
Events and surge
Full coverage at tightened response times for exercises, planned operations, and emergencies activated by phone.

Covered hours, response times, and reporting are set in the Service Order and sized to how the organization operates. Work outside covered hours can also be of 12-month readiness, with up to 20 hours of work, without changing tier.

Additional services

Available alongside managed operations, scoped to the engagement.

Deployment

A new, baselined TAK instance in your environment, including PKI, identity integration, federation, and handover to operations.

Migration

Moving an existing instance to a new environment, including parallel running, cutover, and decommissioning.

Hosted TAK

Bravo Forward provides and accredits the environment, then operates TAK in it.

Operational assistance

Overlays, mission products, and common operating picture management during operations.

Training

Prepares staff to onboard and support their own TAK users, on site or remote. End user training is .

New requirements

Needs that come up during the year, scoped and priced before any work starts.

Your environment, your keys

  • Your requirements govern. We operate within your security requirements, your authorization, and your governance.
  • Your data stays in your boundary. Nothing leaves your environment unless you approve it.
  • No lock-in. TAK Server is government software. It runs on your compute, in your tenant, and you hold every key.
  • A clean exit. On termination we provide up to 30 days of transition to you or your chosen successor at no additional charge.

Scope an engagement

Each engagement is sized to the environment and the operating tempo. Describe how TAK runs today and Bravo Forward will scope a Service Order.
